Moss SMP is the main survival experience: explore, gather resources, build projects, progress through server systems, and play with the community.

Getting started

  1. Join with play.mosssmp.net.
  2. Read the server rules.
  3. Use /rtp menu to find an available random teleport destination.
  4. Check the area before choosing where to settle.
  5. Use /jobs browse to explore available professions.

Useful features

  • Random Teleport helps you find new terrain.
  • Jobs reward normal gameplay and progression.
  • Death Chests protect dropped items after death when active.
  • Cosmetics let you customize your appearance.
  • Moss Blooms contains progression, collectables, perks, and utility menus.
  • Towny lets communities protect land and organize towns.
  • mcMMO adds skill progression to normal gameplay.
  • The Auction House provides player-to-player trading.
  • Secure Player Trading supports direct item-and-money exchanges.
  • ImageFrame lets eligible players display images on maps and walls.
  • The live map provides a browser view of the server world.

Good community habits

  • Respect other players and their builds.
  • Do not take items or modify builds that do not belong to you.
  • Avoid building directly beside someone without asking.
  • Report bugs instead of attempting to exploit them.
  • Ask staff when a rule or feature is unclear.
